tomorrow.

benjiman button disease
(kill me)
found myself
at the center of a brass sax
couldn’t wait to kill that tax
and i wondered
could there be a reason
for this season
or what we are?
like do you care what we are?

i waited for you in front of the limo
took 20 days, but you called
and you said you were sorry
“it wasn’t my fault
but you wouldn’t understand
you’re just a queen with no king”

so on and on the emotions go
where they’ll grow
nobody knows
like oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh
and no.
i’m just like you,
but no.

and i thought about standing
singing, believing and hoping
couldn’t help it
but nope
pat couldn’t come in
not unless he could sin
and we all asked him
please for us
do it for us
just let it up
and he was like no.

so on and on the emotions go
where they’ll grow
nobody knows
like oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh
and no.
i’m just like you,
but i digress
you told me one day
it be yes.

i’m a sad girl.
