Did you know that your wedding changes your relationship? It dictates why it was PERFECT when you were a couple but it changed when you got married. Go to astro.com and put in the exact time, place and date of your nuptials, and get the event chart for the occasion. This is mundane astrology, so you will read the planets differently then you would a natal chart. These are what the planets represent, so pay attention to them and note the condition they’re in.
Saturn: The Groom
He is the responsible authority in the wedding, taking the bride from her family, or more specifically, her father. You can see if he really loves her, by way of no relationship to Venus. Saturn in Libra and Taurus are debilitated here. Saturn in Pisces is actually good, because it controls the bride, see next planet. Saturn retrograde should always be avoided.
Neptune: The Bride
She is at the highest octave of love, because she is publicly being told she is the most beautiful, and most worthy of love–at the time of the event. She can be stable or in lala land so pay attention to what is happening with Neptune. Bridezilla comes up here too, if Neptune has any hard aspect to Mars (conjunction, square, opposition). Neptune retrograde is a stable bride, so you should actively seek it out.
Venus: The Groom’s Family
The Groom’s family (not a typo), will have strong opinions about whether or not the bride is worthy of their son, brother, etc. Venus should be happy and not debilitated, if the bride doesn’t want to feel rejected. But it shouldn’t be the first thing you care about, you can always take the groom away from his family, it’s been happening for centuries.
Mars: The Bride’s Family
The Bride’s family will have strong opinions about whether or not the groom can take care of their daughter, sister, etc. Mars has advantages in Aries and Leo, but can be disrupted by Venus–essentially rendering the Bride’s family’s opinion useless, if Mars is in hard aspect to Venus or in a Venus-ruled sign.
AC & AC Lord:
How the Vows present themselves to everyone. What does everyone think? Are they crying? Laughing? Cringing? Read the sign and the house and sign that the 1H house lord falls in.
DC & DC Lord:
What the vows mean to the couple. Are they really faithful? In love? Is it a duty? Business situation? Read the sign and the house and sign that the 7H lord falls in.
MC & MC Lord:
What the union means to the world. Is this an important event for more than just those who attend? What do the pictures speak out on? Read the sign and the house and sign that the 10H lord falls in.
IC & IC Lord:
What is hidden about the union? What are the Bride & Groom not saying, but feeling? What is everyone else speaking on. Read the sign and the house and sign that the 4H lord falls in.
Moon:
The general feeling of the wedding. In Mundane Astrology, the Moon represents the people, kingdom, or constituents. It’s not much different here.
Sun:
The wedding itself. In Mundane Astrology, the Sun represents the authority, king or president. It’s not much different here, but it is more of a general “feeling”, as in the marriage is the king.
Mercury:
The music and how well people will communicate & mingle. Pretty self-explanatory.
Jupiter:
How big the wedding is. i.e. how many people will come? Will it cost a lot? Etc.
Uranus:
The upset–what didn’t/doesn’t go right. Uranus should be in a nice position, not conjunct the Sun or Moon, nodes, or any inner planet.
Pluto:
Is it a shitshow? Pluto doesn’t want to be in hard aspect to the nodes. But it can be near Saturn and Neptune, because it amps up the sex appeal.
Rahu
If Saturn, Neptune, Venus or Mars are in any hard aspect to Rahu (North Node) or Ketu (South Node), there will be issues with the destiny of the union. This will require a lot of understanding of Astrology, so not everyone can read this, even if I explain it more in depth.
