The lie.

Tender waves of blue
Join the aqua hues
That developed in my mind
Like a memory lost in time
With blood red dues
That were paid through feuds
And shiny silver dollars
Couldn’t feed the kids in collars

Like a closet with a child’s scream
And a knife wrecking me
Running down the stairs
The face of some one else’s fear
Staring me in my chest
Like a full on metal vest
Pulsating like a heartbeat
And falling dead on the street

Save me from
The running scared
And kill the demons
Living here
And make the house
Haunted die
Before you become
Demonized
And try to run
From the karma shared
It’s only stealing
Forever dear
Make your house
Haunted cry
Because you aren’t
The answer to the lie

Tender waves of grain
Float through heavens rain
The tired americas
Learned to fear us
But then locked us in cages
In 7 fateful stages
To make the night go on forever
Until the day she got clever

Save me from
The running scared
And kill the demons
Living here
And make the house
Haunted die
Before you become
Demonized
And try to run
From the karma shared
It’s only stealing
Forever dear
Make your house
Haunted cry
Because you aren’t
The answer to the lie

Tender days
Lost to pay
the price
Of gray
Skies
That lay
And shocking
Truth
Discover you
Like the honey
From the tongue
Of youth
Make the
Room
Start to shake
With heaven
Sirens
Like earthquakes
The time is come
To lay an end
On the ones
Who weren’t our friends

And try to run
From the karma shared
It’s only stealing
Forever dear
Make your house
Haunted cry
Because you aren’t
The answer to the lie

The lie, the lie, the lie
It’s sweet on your tongue
But in your stomach
It turns sour

Now you cower
