When we are slandered, we try to remove our memories—we must not do that. For if we do the things they do to us, to ourselves, we have already become as the scum of the earth, living off the dregs of the blood. The refuse of all things, even until now, will not bow to me. I do not write these things to shame you, but to kill you as my beloved child, for you are not. If you were to have one teacher in Christ, it’s me, the antichrist—and if you were not to have so many fathers, you might live. But for those in Christ Jesus I have now became your father, through my word, while he lives.
